My first songs were written in New Zealand in the late 70's. In 1979 I moved to Sydney to form a band with a friend and played the Sydney rock circuit for several years. After moving to Salt Lake City I began to play and write Folk Songs and Celtic Instrumental Music. I formed an acoustic quintet called Crighkey! There were three composers in the band writing songs and instrumentals. Instruments played in the band were: Violin, Mandolin, Drum / Soprano & Tenor Recorders, Clarinet / Banjo / Keyboards / Folk Guitar, Harmonica / plus 5 Vocals.

I moved back to New Zealand in December 2005 and continue to perform in the duo INISH with my wife Marian.

Samples of my songs perfromed by both these bands can be heard below.
