Original & Traditional Folk Songs & Instrumentals.

INISH perform Celtic & Original compositions. Marian Carter plays tenor & soprano recorders, and clarinet, as well as singing solo and adding vocal harmonies. Barry Carter composes original songs and tunes, plays folk & Spanish Guitars, bodhran, harmonica, as well as singing and vocal harmonies.

Recent performances have included: a featured spot at Acoustic Routes at the Wellington Folk Club, and a live-to-air performance on Capitol Irish on Access Radio, hosted by Roy McGuiness. We also perform regularly at The Furnace in Trentham and have done several performances at the Tin Hut in Featherton.

Before arriving in Wellington in 2006, INISH

was a well-liked participant in the musical community of Salt Lake City Utah. They performed at various festivals, concerts, weddings, and street fairs around town and throughout the state of Utah. They have released one CD For Cryin’ Out Loud, which contains original and traditional compositions.
