INISH have been performing since 1994.
Marian Carter - tenor recorder, clarinet, and mandolin, vocals.
Barry Carter - guitars, bodhran, vocals, composer.
Some of our performances have included:Concert at Acoustic Routes at the Wellington Folk Club; and a live-to-air performance on Capitol Irish on Access Radio, hosted by Roy McGuiness; Concert at the Maritime Museum, plus many small gigs at various places around town.
Before arriving in Wellington Dec 2005, INISH
was a well-liked participant in the musical community of Salt Lake City Utah.
They performed at various festivals, concerts, weddings, and street fairs around town and throughout the state of Utah, as well as a live-to-air on Salt Lake's famous community radio station KRCL. They have released one CD, For Cryin’ Out Loud, which contains original and traditional compositions.
