The Lovely Bones
Vs 1
The arc of a life, continues after death
The tracks of your tears, will irrigate my soul
And although snatched, from your lonely arms
These lovely bones, will never lie in rest
Until, the arc, of the killer, is traced.
Vs 2
The weight of the guilt, that my father bares
As he takes all the blows, of my sister’s grief
And I try so hard, to show him the way
Through the streets of our town, to my killer’s front door
And he knows, in his heart, that the killer, stands, before him.
Bridge 1
In my version of heaven, I can have anything
Except the smell, and the touch, of your skin
And oh in the night, when I want him so bad
And Ruth finds a way, to exchange for an hour.
Vs 3
My mother returns, to the bosom of her grief
In response to a call, from the love of her life
But can she let go, of a cold December night
When the walls of her world, closed in beyond control,
Around the festering, centre, of this slow, healing, wound.
Bridge 2
From my gazebo in the sun, I can see all too clear
The pain of the loss, as your lives rebirth.
And the tracks of a man, as he walks through the snow
To that place in the corn-field, he lured me to go;
And if I, could show you, the darkness, of his thoughts.

A Full Moon in the Mountains
Vs3
If I became a mountain, I would have the strength to do anything.
Standing tall as a mountain, I could send my rivers running anywhere I choose, and send one out to you.
Yes to be a mighty mountain, you would feel the earth move,
Where ever you walk, and you'd know, that I was there with you.
Chours:
And we could soar the mountain heights, across a moonlit sky
I'd carry you on the winds circling higher all the while,
I became a mountain, so you and I would never be apart.
Too Much Too Soon
Verse 1
At night as you look to the west, you'll notice that the sun sets with a sigh.
As it travels o'er the earth, it's sometimes glad the cloud obscures its sight.
It sees how many people try to make ends meet
and that all for one and one for all is nothing but a load of bull
so many people say to him, 'I want to rule the world, all for one'.
The Teacher
Verse 2
People come into our life at the strangest of times
They seem to know just need, what's goin'g through our minds.
So be honest to yourself, and talk with a friend
Everything we need to know, we'll know in the end,
Know in the end.
Chorus:
We are all pupils & teachers lookin' for the light,
that shines out between us through the darkest night,
we are drawn together to help each other learn to live this life,
we come around again and again
until we get it right.
I Saw a Clown
Verse 1
I saw a mountain without a summit, and a river with no-where to go.
There was a stage and nobody on it,
I was an actor without a show.
Met an eagle afraid of heights,
talked with an owl in broad daylight,
gazed at a clear sky that wasn't blue,
and saw myself without you.
Love & my Life
Verse 1
When you said good bye and tha you didn't want to stay with till the end.
I walked outside and I realised, what a big world it is we all live in.
I nearly crumbled to the floor -
when I saw you walkin' out the door I could see now
how much love and life were one.
Ooh ooh love and my life.
The Fire Within
Verse 1
I've been walking on this road so long,
Trying to find the dreams I've seen,
That run wild across the fields,
And on out to the deep blue sea.
Yet all that I can ever find,
All these eyes have ever seen.
Is old highways and dusty roads,
Wooden fences, and fallen trees.
Chorus:
They say the road goes on forever,
stretching out beyond the sky,
And that there's a light that burns into the night,
And a fire within that will never die.
Everything is (the Reverse)
Verse 2
There was fire and smoke, and sparks in the air.
And if looks could kill, i'd be dead.
And I wanted out, but I was scared
Of being left alone in the dark, again, naturally.
Chorus:
And now looking back it would seem,
as we stand with our backs to the wind,
we're about to walk down two seperate roads
and everything is the reverse,
to what it would seem.
Into the Wild
Now life has a rhythm, that puts a beat in your stride,
and nothing can beat the feelin' you get, when the rhythm is right.
And the love you give and the love you take, are all for one cause;
so you and I can live together as one.
Chorus
We're movin' on, into the wild blue...
Take on the World
But now you're tellin' me that you can't go.
It hurts like hell to hear you talk like,
you're sayin', "My life, it ain't goin' now where,
and pretty soon I won't be here."
It seems like only yesterday you were sayin',
tellin' me you could take on the world.
Come Rain or Shine
There's a hole in the sky where the sun is shinin' down,
and you and I are walking hand in hand but hey,
"What's the big idea?"
We're lookin' for a place where we can find some shade
but everybody else is thinkin' just the same,
it's crowded in the shade....
No Regrets
Verse 3
She's better when she gets to sleep at night,
she's not aware of what goes on in her mind,
there's a movie that's playin' back to back every night
and it make her scared when the sun goes down.....
And now the time has come when she must walk away
from a situation that's causing endless pain
and so she's leavin' town.
she's runnin' out of time, she dunno where to go,
and pretty soon her mind is going to explode.
Why Pretend
Verse 2
Your affection comes
when you want to give it
and it seems that you can only
give when you can gain.
But you better get
everything you can
'cause I'm leavin'
on th midnight train.
Chorus:
So why is it that we hurt the ones we love?
Why do we play with this gun
Why do we play these games with each other?
So You're Having a Tough Time Too
Verse 2
Runnin' through the hearts on man, there's a dream of another land,
where we can be exactly what we wanna be,
while the children of the streets are out there
throwin' rocks at the moon,
dreamin' of a place that they can all call home.
Chorus
And go to the place it's always, to the place where dreams are
Where they can leave the winter behind, where they can be happy.
The Little Tin Box
Verse 2
I gave you the key to my little tin box,
that thing in my chest that I call my heart,
but you turned around and left it out standing in the rain,
ain't no good to anyone no more.
Chorus
You better run away from me, oh yeah
I'm gonna walk away from you, this time
We've taken this thing way too far
You better run away from me.
