in the Mountains

High above the mountains, an
eagle is wandering Ôcross the sky.
It soars across the valleys,
and then way over the ocean to be by your side.
And then spreadinÕ out its
wings, it carries you in its back,
across those seven seas, to
where you and I can be free.
Chorus
And then it soars the
mountain heights, across a moonlit sky.
It carries you on the
winds circling higher all
the while.
I dreamt I was an eagle, so
you and I would never be apart
Vs 2
The cloud cover breaks, and
a moon beam shines across the sky.
It shines clear across the
mountains, to close the open space thatÕs come between you and me.
Then skips across the roof-tops,
to wrap around the world,
And shine a guiding light, where
ever you would be.
Chorus
And then it soars the
mountain heights, across a moonlit sky.
It carries you on the winds,
circling higher all the while.
I wished upon a moonbeam, so
you and I would never be apart.
Vs 3
If I became a mountain, I
would have the strength to do anything.
Standing tall as a mountain,
I could send my rivers running anywhere I choose,
Yes to be a mighty mountain,
you would feel the earth move,
Where ever you walk, and
youÕd know that I was there with you.
Chorus
And we could soar the
mountain heights, across this moonlit sky.
IÕd carry you on the winds,
circling higher all the while.
I became a mountain, so you
and I will never be apart.
